The Plan calls for participation by teenagers, college age young adults, young parents with school age children, median adults, senior adults and grandparents. An ideal grouping might be twelve Christians who could partner two-by-two through outside class projects and as prayer partners.
Specific issues to be researched and addressed will be spiritual preparation of children, young people, persons entering college and the workplace for the first time, church and family leadership and even the church staff to present Christ effectively in an increasingly Islam-influenced world. Spirit-led group members can reinforce each other in the discovery and ministry dimensions of The Plan.
Significant roles of a spiritually maturing group are to alert others and to assist the church staff in dealing with the subtle and direct challenge brought by Islam and Muslims. In addition, the group could serve as the church’s informed and caring entity to help motivate the congregation in mission outreach to Muslims nearby, nationwide and internationally.
