God’s urging and requests from leaders of mission-minded Christians prompted The Center for Christian Understanding of Islam to launch this effort during the summer of 2008.  We pledged to offer information, ideas and strategies to assist in fulfilling one aspect of your calling to instruct your own church and to reach out to people who await the truth and love of God in Jesus Christ.

Beginning in September 2008, materials were prepared for weekly electronic distribution.  God’s timing allowed The Plan to begin precisely at the start of Muslims’ fasting month, Ramadan.  Naturally, the theme for the initial series was on Islam’s teachings about fasting.  The second month follows political themes for Muslims in preparation for the elections in the United States.  Content reflects on and addresses contemporary international, seasonal, and doctrinal subjects. 

The Plan has as its fundamental objective the preparation of individual Christians and congregations to face courageously the challenges of Islam and Muslims.  Your participation may instruct and spiritually prepare you, your family, your congregation and even other participants beyond your area.

Simply stated, The Plan is an adaptable Christian mission education tool with practical application possibilities throughout the church family, without any financial obligations.

Whether you received this information on our initiative or yours, please agree to participate and pledge to prayerfully apply The Plan as God directs you.  The Lord will likely use your suggestions and insights to strengthen the impact of this effort as you provide us your input.

“How to” begins with your email to director@christiansandislam.com with a request including your name and address and the name of your church, if you wish.  The involvement of a carefully selected church group is essential for the value of The Plan to be fully experienced.
