Loving Creator and Recreator of all who repent and turn to You humbly with love, enlighten us on this day of prayer.  O how we seek Your closeness and guidance for our lives! 

Without Your presence in our souls, our decisions are poor and our thoughts worldly. Precious to us, O Master, is the joyous freedom we know as redeemed followers of Your Holy will.  May Jesus be received as our example, shepherd, merciful Savior from Satan’s bondage, and coming King. 

May this week of prayer transcend all previous efforts to commune with You and may Your messages of truth transform our lives now for Your glory.  May it be so. Amen.
