The ministry, now expressed through the Center for Christian Understanding of Islam, was officially incorporated on February 15, 1994, by the State Corporation of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, as the educational non-profit 501(c) (3) entity, Foundation for Advanced Study and Training (FAST).

After earlier locations from its inception, the current location at 8003 Franklin Farms Drive, Suite 102, Henrico, VA, 23229, was established in March of 2010.
